Day 493-495 Greetings world

Breakthrough day.  I did a run that did not reach the level of excruciating pain today.  Hooray!  I'm hoping it was just an over use/strain type of thing.  There aren't really ligaments in that area to be strained, but who is counting?  

I actually spoke the words out loud "I want to go do a long run."  Sheer craziness.  Not being able to do one is making this like extended taper madness I suppose.  I don't want to lose all the endurance that came from such painstaking efforts.  Have to pull in the reins to avoid exacerbating injuries.  Ah the balancing act.  

Also, for some reason, I can not stop watching this....

Too bad my wedding-rap-in-progress is only 1/20th as cool as that.

Next time you go for a run and you feel that knee pain flaring up.. slap it way. Slap Slapin away that knee pain with the Slap Chop.

Great news! Can't see the video on account of the firewall at work, but will check it out later. And it will take a bit of time and non-activity to lose all that conditioning, so don't sweat it.

Oh yeah, I love me some barbacoa! Right there with ya.

I'm pretty sure if I close my eyes and concentrate really hard, that commercial seems like something the Flight of the Conchords might come up with.... NICE.
